What to do and see in Druskininkai?
Druskininkai is one of the most beautiful and beloved resorts in Lithuania. The town located in Dzūkija is a year-round wellness center with its pine forests, mineral waters and mud treatments. Druskininkai could also be called a family entertainment center, because over the past few decades, interesting and active activities have appeared in the town. Dzūkija is characterized by its beautiful nature and forests, so the resort is full of parks, walking and cycling paths. Museums, salt workshops and even a manor await everyone who arrives. In Druskininkai, everyone's wishes become reality! There is always something to do, visit and see here.
Snow Arena
Whether it's a hot summer day or a gloomy autumn, Snow Arena offers the opportunity to feel winter at any time of the year. Snow is a small miracle produced by the latest technologies in Snow Arena. Upon arrival, you will find three slopes: one outdoor and two indoor, you can try three lifts, and refresh yourself at the Ice, Finish or SnowBo bars. A restaurant awaits those who are hungry, and an ice cream parlor awaits those with a sweet tooth.
Snow Arena is a five-star indoor snow arena that offers not only simple ski slopes, but also various figures for tricks. What I like most is that when you come to ski, you don't have to bring a lot of warm clothes and take care of your equipment. Everything can be found at Druskininkai Snow Arena, along with additional services:
- Mini sports competitions are great fun for a group of friends.
- Photoshoots in the snow – when everyone is posting photos from the beach, you can be unique!
- Children's camps are a whole week on the snow with their peers and like-minded people. Children get to know winter sports up close, learn to ski, compete, and have fun.

Uno Park
When traveling with a family, we often have to adapt to the wishes of children, so after the snow and water, we head straight to the tree climbing park – Uno Park. This is one of the most fun attractions – you get a lot of adrenaline, you have to exercise your muscles and you don’t have to constantly watch the little monkey, because it is safely “tied in”. Uno Park is not only suitable for families, it also welcomes:
- Students will face logical tasks, adventures, challenges, and teamwork.

Grūtas Park
There must be a balance in life, so Grūtas Park is a great counterbalance to reckless entertainment. It is a place that provides an opportunity to see and feel the Soviet spirit, to understand ideology. As soon as you enter the park, you can start your journey back in time with a Soviet restaurant, and after passing the well-maintained Grūtas Park, you will be greeted by museums that tell the story of the former ideology and cruel crimes. Grūtas Park also houses a Zoo. It has many birds, ponies, a bear and even a camel! Right next to it you will find the Soviet Luna Park. Although it recalls the times when our parents were still young, the park is perfectly maintained and will bring joy to both young and old.
The authenticity of Grūtas Park is fascinating and a little frightening. But history needs to be told, and what better way to tell it than by traveling back in time?

Leipalingis Manor
When you have seen all of Druskininkai, the question arises, what to see around it? Leipalingis Manor is a gift from Aleksandrs to Jonas Teodoras Piliuskovs. The manor burned down, was divided into parcels, turned into a gymnasium, and finally turned into a museum, next to which is the eldership with a library. The museum exhibits various old household items and tells the story of Leipalingis. At the end of 2021, the second floor of the manor was renovated, which includes a hall, dressing rooms, and offices.

Source of beauty – Spa Park
The Spa Park is a walk to enjoy flower beds, sculptures and the tranquility of admiring the most important object - the Beauty Spring. As a child, I remember when every time we came to Druskininkai, we rushed to wash our hands and face with it. It is said that you can become beautiful not only by washing with the beauty water, but also by standing next to it, listening to its gurgling. The "Beauty Spring" gushes from a depth of 300 meters and is the saltiest water in the resort. About 50 g of salt dissolves in one liter.

Christmas tree lighting and Christmas tree park in Druskininkai
