Fenas Kite Spot campsite is a wild paradise for kitesurfers and windsurfers, an exclusive place for young and rebellious souls (no age restrictions) - friends’ companies, romantic couples and lovers. This is a unique marine and hipster atmosphere surrounded by the view to Curonian Lagoon, dunes, open grassland and kites when windy, creates an exceptional and unique landmark. Waterside stays 25 meters from your pitch and water is closer than anywhere else. If you’d prefer to have water view contact with larger space, please choose water view pitch instead of back view where you could simply lay down and stare out over the lagoon and meet sunsets. If you do not travel with caravan campers, try staying in a tent. Caravan or tent pitches - any type of these accommodations are available.
When thoughts turn to food, barbecues are permitted on site. Firewood’s available here so pick up supplies in Dreverna village shop (5-minute drive) or Priekule (you passed it on the road) and head back to base to get some flames going. If you’d rather leave the cooking to someone else, a few bars and restaurants nearby can take care of that.
Camper pitches are with access to electricity and water. No sewage. From the 2022 season, there are new camping showers and toilets. Here starts your journey with Kites in kitesurfing schools nearby, which are organizing kitesurfing camps as a learning activity. Special reservations for these camps and lessons are needed in advance.
On the edge of the campsite is our neighbour bar to fresh your soul. Visit all Kitesurfing schools, there are at least 6 of them in the area. Sometimes they go wild and party till sunrise, do not worry, the lights of the area will show you back to your camper home pitch.
Dreverna village is famous with its harbour (5-minute drive) which is another tourism centre. It has 15 meters high observation tower, restaurants and other activities, like passengers ferry Dreverna - Juodkrante (you can access the beach in 20 minutes there) – Dreverna (according to the schedule), private boat trips, kayaks and canoes excursions & rent, water bike and boat rent. Try everything.
For calm days take your pick for forest adventures. Svencele botanical forest is to the east of Curonian Lagoon and with the bikes you can explore this wild nature easily or go by the coastline to the south and reach Kintai village.
